Gemma has worked within the health and social care sector for 28 years, gaining experience across a range of settings including hospitals, residential care, community support, and supported housing. For the past five years, she has served as Director of Care for a local organisation, leading two services rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission. Having experienced first-hand the excellent support provided by Care Development East, Gemma is excited to be part of the organisation’s next chapter. She looks forward to working alongside the team, board, and partners to support all social care providers in achieving excellence across the sector.
