Care home builds space shuttle to send its residents ‘out of this world’
A care home got its staff busy creating a space shuttle for residents to “boldly go” off site and into outer space.
Home made ‘space cakes’ were on the menu for residents boarding the space shuttle at Court Lodge care home in Lymington, as staff made sure their lounge was transformed for intergalactic exploration far, far away.
The night sky was created as well as a lunar background for residents to lift off from the care home and make their small step into space travel.
Care homes in Hampshire and Dorset run by Colten Care, turned residents into intrepid space travellers with a glimpse of the moon and stars thanks to a galaxy projector.
