Vaccination as a condition of deployment (VCOD) in social care settings other than care homes
The DHSC has written providers of CQC-regulated adult social care activities (excepting care homes) with an update on mandatory vaccinations.
The 2nd February letter states that employers should not serve notice of termination to employees in connection with the VCOD regulations in wider social care settings.
Care homes need to keep following the regulations until they are revoked by parliament or the DHSC states otherwise.
