What does your organisation do that you would love more people to know about?
Alongside care home staffing, we also provide private nursing placing skilled, dedicated nurses directly with individuals and families who need one-to-one care at home or in a care setting.
What makes your organisation or your team special?
We take the time to understand what a service actually needs and who has the skills and character to meet it, which means providers get people who are genuinely capable and reliable, not just available.
What does social care mean to your organisation?
It's the heart of what we do. Every placement we make has a direct impact on someone's quality of life, whether that's the person receiving care or the professional we've supported into a role where they can thrive.
What do you think is special about the people who work in social care?
Their resilience and compassion, day in and day out, often in demanding circumstances, and usually without the recognition they deserve.
Is there a particular person, experience or moment that has shaped your connection with social care?
Family.
If you could change one misconception about social care, what would it be?
That it's low-skilled work. Social care demands clinical knowledge, emotional intelligence and split-second judgement, it deserves to be recognised as the skilled profession it is.
Why did you decide to sponsor the Suffolk Care Awards this year?
As a staffing agency working across Suffolk's care sector every day, we wanted to put our support behind an event that celebrates the people and providers doing exceptional work in our community especially in this milestone 10th year.
Why did you choose to sponsor your chosen award?
We see first-hand the difference strong leadership and well-run services make, and we wanted to celebrate that directly.
What does it mean to you to help recognise and celebrate people working across Suffolk's care sector?
Recognition like this matters in a sector that gives so much and is too often overlooked. Being part of shining a light on that is exactly the kind of thing we care about.
What would you like to see more of in Suffolk's social care sector?
Greater investment in staff development and wellbeing, and wider public recognition of the skill and dedication the sector requires.
What's one thing your team couldn't survive a working day without?
Coffee.
