Hospice Education
Hospice Education offer a wide range of short courses. They also provide bespoke courses planned with individual care settings.
Going forward they are looking to offer locality based training to make their courses more accessible to care settings the first one of these is ReSPECT training which will be delivered in Felixstowe and will be open to the care homes and agencies in that locality.
In addition to the short courses they have a care home and care agency accreditation programme, which offers a comprehensive learning and assessment programme over a 12 months period, at the end of which the care setting is given a certificate of accreditation by the Hospice, is featured on the Hospice Website as such and has access to ongoing support in the form of regular meetings for the End of life champions and the management team.
St Elizabeth Hospice, in partnership with St Helena, offers training and support to local health and social care professionals specialist in the care of individuals with life-limiting conditions and incurable diseases.
We provide training and education in end of life and palliative care.
