Dementia Marketplace 2025 – Bringing Dementia Support Together Under One Roof
"One Day. One Roof. All the Dementia Support You Need."
On Wednesday 25th June 2025, Care Development East, in partnership with Suffolk County Council and the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE ICB), proudly hosted the third annual Dementia Marketplace at Trinity Park in Ipswich.
With over 200 attendees and more than 50 exhibitors, the free, one-day event brought together practical advice, expert guidance, and innovative tools to support people living with dementia, their families, and carers—all in one accessible space.
Event Highlights

Marketplace Zone: A bustling hub of 40+ dementia-focused services, charities, and local support groups offering advice, resources, and signposting.

Expert Talks & Q&As: Short, informative sessions ran throughout the day from dementia specialists and care professionals.

Activities Room: A dedicated, safe and supervised space for people with dementia, featuring seated dance, art, and music-led sessions.

Lunchtime Singalong: A popular highlight that brought energy and connection to the main space. A truly heart-warming moment.

Resource Table: Packed with materials, guides and contacts to take home.
Innovation Room – New for 2025
The newly introduced Innovation Room was a major success, showcasing a range of assistive equipment and digital technologies to help people live well with dementia for longer. It also saw the launch of Reverie, an exciting new Virtual Reality (VR) app designed specifically with and for people with dementia, featuring familiar Suffolk sights and sounds to spark connection and joy.
