Care Development East Statement

Care Development East can confirm that discussions regarding a potential new partnership will not be progressing further. Following positive and constructive conversations, all parties have mutually agreed that this is the right point for the process to end.

We would like to thank everyone involved for the time, openness and professionalism they have brought to the discussions. The process has been valuable in helping to clarify future priorities and reaffirm CDE’s commitment to working collaboratively in support of the adult social care sector.

CDE will now move forward with the support and oversight of its Board. Our immediate priorities are to recruit a new Manager, continue to strengthen our engagement with providers and partners, and maintain our focus on supporting the social care workforce and wider stakeholders across the region.

We remain positive about the future and confident that, with the Board’s leadership and the continued support of our partners, CDE is well placed to build on its relationships, respond to sector needs and continue championing high-quality social care in Suffolk.
